Wastlhof - a insiders tip for holidays in Kaltern

Location

There is something for everyone in Kaltern and the local region.

The lake in Kaltern is a ideal location for water sport enthusiasts (surfers, sailors) and is known for being the warmest bathing lake in the Alps. Closeby in the neighbouring town, Eppan, are the Montiggler Lakes (with the longest water slide in South Tyrol) or you can use the many cycle and walking paths.

In our information for walkers you will find numerous tipps for excursions in both the valley and the mountains (Mendel, Seiser Alm, Kastelruth, Sarntal, Meran 2000, Ultental, the Dolomites etc.).

You can also take an excursion on the historic Mendel furnicular railway. Don't miss the South Tyrolean wine museum in Kaltern and the world famous Ötzimuseum in Bolzano.

You can find further information here www.kaltern.com

We hope you have a great time in Kaltern and the region.
